The Test Building of Guangdong Wind Power Seafront Test Base Completed

Recently, the test building for China's first wind power seafront test base—the Guangdong Wind Power Seafront Test Base—was completed in Haojiang District, Shantou. This marks another significant milestone after the Base commissioned its No. 3 and No. 4 testing stations in early 2025, and will provide support for breakthroughs in core technologies and equipment R&D for offshore wind power clusters.
The test building is located in the Offshore Wind Power Innovation Industrial Park, adjacent to the "Four-in-One" Offshore Wind Power Equipment Manufacturing Industrial Park, which integrates research and development and design, production manufacturing and testing certification. As the base’s core supporting facility and the "central hub" for scientific research innovation, the test building's interior will house a multi-terminal heterogeneous new-type DC engineering validation platform, a wind turbine testing and simulation laboratory, and a real-time monitoring system. With its high-standard hardware setup, the building forms an advanced research platform that will precisely focus on key technological breakthroughs in new power system sector, providing technical support for the modern industrial system of offshore wind power.

广东省风电临海试验基地试验楼建成
近日，国内首个风电临海试验基地——广东省风电临海试验基地试验楼在我市濠江区竣工。这是基地在2025年初投用3、4号测试机位后的又一重要进展，将为海上风电集群核心技术突破与装备研发提供支撑。
试验楼坐落于海上风电创新产业园内，毗邻“四个一体化”海上风电装备制造产业园。作为基地的核心配套载体和科研创新的“中枢枢纽”，试验楼内部未来布局多端异构新型直流工程实证平台、风机测试仿真实验室及实时监控系统，从硬件配置上搭建起高水平科研平台，将精准聚焦新型电力系统领域关键技术攻关，为海上风电现代产业体系提供技术支撑。
