Recently, Shantou China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Shanzhou-Zhanjiang Expressway East Section Development Co., Ltd. held a signing ceremony for a cooperation framework agreement. Through a preferential toll rebate policy, the two parties will address policy bottlenecks between the port and the expressway, effectively solving the "last mile" cost challenge in logistics and transportation, thereby supporting the high-quality development of Shantou's port-centered economy.
This signing marks a substantive step for Shantou China Merchants Port Group Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Shanzhou-Zhanjiang Expressway East Section Development Co., Ltd. in building a new ecosystem for port logistics characterized by efficient collaboration and shared benefits. Moving forward, through an integrated model of "Port + Expressway + Logistics", the two parties will effectively reduce transportation costs for logistics companies in the port-centered economic zone.
