Shantou Organizes a Delegation from the Lion-Headed Goose Industry to Xinjiang for Study and Investigation

Recently, the Shantou Baisha Poultry and Livestock Origin Research Institute, jointly with the Shantou Lion-headed Goose Industry Association, organized an inspection and exchange visit to the Wuhe Pasture in Hejing County, Xinjiang. The two sides reached an intention for strategic cooperation and signed a framework agreement, marking a crucial step for the cross-regional layout of Shantou's lion-headed goose industry and the synergistic development of industries with local features in Guangdong and Xinjiang.
As the "Hometown of Lion-headed Goose in China", Shantou boasts the world's largest lion-headed goose breeding base, a mature full-industry chain, and advanced deep-processing technologies. Hejing County in Xinjiang, located in the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, enjoys unique natural resources, vast breeding spaces, and immense market consumption potential, forming a great resource complementarities for Shantou's lion-headed goose industry. The two sides will collaborate to build a standardized lion-headed goose breeding demonstration base, fully replicate and promote Shantou's mature industrialized breeding model of "company + base + farmers" and simultaneously cultivate local breeding technical talents to consolidate the foundation for industrial development. Meanwhile, they will join hands to extend the deep processing industrial chain of the lion-headed goose, actively expand markets in Xinjiang and its surrounding regions at home and abroad, and jointly create a regionally distinctive Guangdong-Xinjiang lion-headed goose industry brand, thereby promoting the quality improvement and efficiency enhancement of agricultural industries with local features in both regions.

近日，汕头市白沙禽畜原种研究所联合汕头市狮头鹅产业协会共同组织赴新疆和静乌和牧场考察交流，双方达成战略合作意向并签订框架协议，为汕头狮头鹅产业跨区域布局、粤新两地特色产业协同发展迈出关键一步。
作为“中国狮头鹅之乡”，汕头拥有全球最大的狮头鹅种源基地、成熟的全产业链条及精深加工技术。新疆和静地处丝绸之路经济带核心区域，拥有得天独厚的自然资源、广阔的养殖空间和巨大的市场消费潜力，与汕头狮头鹅产业形成极强的资源互补优势。双方将助力建设标准化狮头鹅养殖示范基地，全面复制推广汕头“公司+基地+农户”的成熟产业化养殖模式，同步开展本地养殖技术人才培育工作，夯实产业发展基础。同时，双方还将携手延伸狮头鹅深加工产业链，积极拓展新疆本地及周边国内外市场，共同打造具有地域特色的粤新狮头鹅产业品牌，推动两地特色农业产业提质增效。
