On June 27, on the occasion of the 10th UN "Micro-, Small- and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) Day", the Shantou 2026 UN MSMEs Day Theme Event and the 3rd Exchange Conference of Members of the Shantou Private Entrepreneurs Think Tank, jointly hosted by the Shantou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology and the Administrative Committee of Shantou High-tech Zone, were held at the Shenshan Next-Generation Electronic Information Industrial Park.
As one of the highlights of the event, the 2026 "Maker Guangdong" Shantou Competition was officially launched. The Competition focuses on discovering high-quality projects and fostering "unicorn" enterprises in future-oriented industries. The event also featured dedicated policy interpretation sessions, thematic sharing sessions, and an off-site talent recruitment exchange area. Furthermore, it introduced highly flexible and targeted special financing products to small and medium-sized enterprises, providing solid financial backing for their development.

汕头举办“中小微企业日”主题活动暨企业家智库交流会
6月27日，在第十个联合国“中小微企业日”到来之际，由市工信局、汕头高新区管委会联合主办的汕头市2026年联合国中小微企业日主题活动暨汕头市民营企业家智库成员第三期交流会在深汕新一代电子信息产业园举行。
作为本次活动的重头戏之一，2026年“创客广东”汕头赛正式启动，大赛重在挖掘优质项目、培育未来产业“独角兽”。活动还专门设置了政策解读环节、主题分享环节及场外人才招聘交流区，并向中小企业介绍灵活性高、针对性强的特色融资产品，为企业发展提供坚实的金融后盾。
