On the morning of September 24, the 2026 Token Going Global Innovation & Development Conference sponsored by the Shantou Municipal People's Government, and organized by Shantou Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone and the Shantou Municipal Cyberspace Administration under the guidance of the Guangdong Provincial Cyberspace Administration was held in Shantou.
At the conference, the Shantou Municipal People's Government signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with Guangdong Power Grid, Huawei Technologies, and JD Technology. The Shantou International Zero-Carbon Computing Power Port was officially launched. The international companies of the three major telecom operators of China – China Mobile, China Telecom, and China Unicom – jointly activated the global resource pool for token going global. Contracts for a number of projects for intelligent computing center construction, computing power cooperation, and customer cooperation were signed centrally. At the conference, plaques were awarded to representatives from the first batch of token going global enterprises in Shantou. Shantou Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone made industry promotion for token going global, and released ten policy measures on tokens.

2026词元出海创新发展大会在汕举行
9月24日上午，由广东省委网信办指导、汕头市人民政府主办，华侨试验区、市委网信办承办的2026词元出海创新发展大会在汕头举行。
会上，汕头市人民政府分别与广东电网、华为科技、京东科技签订战略合作框架协议。汕头国际零碳算力港正式启动。中国移动、中国电信、中国联通三大运营商国际公司共同点亮词元出海全球资源池。一批智算中心建设、算力合作、客户合作项目集中签约。大会为首批汕头词元出海代表企业授牌。华侨试验区作词元出海产业推介，发布“词元十条”政策措施。
