Recently, the 2026 Joint Conference of Trade Promotion Organizations in Southwestern Fujian Coordinated Development Zone was held in Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shantou Sub-council was invited to participate and made a special presentation to representatives of trade promotion organizations and entrepreneurs from various places in southwestern Fujian, showcasing Shantou's industrial foundation, platform advantages, and business environment comprehensively, and expressing the willingness to deepen cross-regional collaboration.
During the presentation, our city highlighted the four major advantages in the fields of offshore wind power, conventional industries, the digital economy, and platform carriers, and proposed to establish a normalized cooperation mechanism with trade promotion organizations in southwestern Fujian, and promote the sharing of economic and trade information, the mutual recommendation and matchmaking of cooperation projects, and corporate service synergies. Both sides would share business law resources, and jointly carry out corporate training, economic and trade visits, and industry matchmaking activities to help enterprises in both regions expand domestic and international markets, and achieve mutually beneficial and win-win cooperation based on advantage complementation together.
