On the afternoon of June 10th, Guangdong Chaozhou Opera Theater Hong Kong Chaozhou Opera Heritage Center, jointly built by Guangdong Chaozhou Opera Theater and Hong Kong Chaozhou People Literature and Art Association, was opened at Kwun Tong Industrial Centre (Phase II), Kowloon, Hong Kong. Yao Xuanqiu and Fang Zhanrong, two national-level intangible cultural heritage Chaozhou opera inheritors of the Guangdong Chaozhou Opera Theater, also came to the scene to teach art and would serve as art consultants to guide the work of the Chaozhou opera in Hong Kong.

The joint construction of Chaozhou Opera Heritage Center by Chaozhou and Hong Kong aims to use the Chaozhou opera as a cultural carrier to unite Chaozhou people at home and abroad and create a cultural exchange cooperation brand between Guangdong and Hong Kong. The Heritage Center plans to set up a training base, recruit young students, carry out training courses of Chaozhou opera traditional artistic performance, Chaozhou music performance training courses, Chaozhou opera campus activities and Chaozhou opera show activities, etc. In the future, it will focus on creating a new art communication mode "excellent performances + artistic popularization + inheriting the future", promoting the inheritance and sustainable development of Chaozhou opera in Hong Kong.

广东潮剧院香港潮剧传承中心揭牌

6月10日下午，由广东潮剧院携手香港潮人文艺协会打造的广东潮剧院香港潮剧传承中心在香港九龙官塘工业中心（二期）揭幕。广东潮剧院的两位国家级非遗潮剧传承人姚璇秋、方展荣也来到现场授艺，并将作为艺术顾问长期指导香港潮剧传承工作。

此次两地携手共建潮剧传承中心，旨在以潮剧为文化载体凝聚和团结海内外潮人，打造粤港文化交流合作品牌。传承中心计划设立培训基地，招募青少年学员，开展潮剧传统表演艺术培训课程、潮乐演奏培训课程、潮剧进校园活动和潮剧展示活动等，未来还将着力打造“精品演出+艺术普及+传承未来”的全新艺术传播模式，推动香港潮剧传承与持续发展。
