The number of high-speed railway from Kowloon West Station in Hong Kong to Shantou Railway Station will be G6392∕89, and the departure time will be at 14:14. It will stop at Futian Railway Station, Shenzhen North Railway Station, Shenzhen Pingshan Railway Station, Shanwei Railway Station, Chaoyang Railway Station and Chaoshan Railway Station in a journey. It will arrive at Shantou Railway Station at 17:37. The journey will take 3 hours and 23 minutes.

7月10日起，全国铁路将实施新的旅客列车运行图。届时，汕头站将开通直达香港西九龙高铁，每天开行一对，全程约3小时。
7月10日，汕头站首开直达香港西九龙站高铁，车次为G6390∕1，17点59分从汕头站始发，经停潮汕站、陆丰站、惠州南站、深圳北站，21点07分抵达香港西九龙站，车程约3小时8分钟。香港西九龙至汕头站高铁车次为G6392∕89，发车时间14点14分，经停福田站、深圳北站、深圳坪山站、汕尾站、潮阳站、潮汕站，17点37分到达汕头站，车程3小时23分。
购买跨境高铁车票，在内地可通过12306网站、电话订票、车站售票窗口、内地代售点、自动售（取）票机等。在香港可通过港铁公司购票网站、电话购票热线（852-21200888）、香港西九龙站售票窗口、自动售（取）票机及港铁公司代售点等。广深港高铁出入境实行“一地两检”，所有出入境手续都在西九龙站进行。
