On June 25th, the ceremony of first 1200-ton fully-electric propelling medium-sized navigation vessel "Sea Patrol 1717" was held in Shantou. The navigation vessel will mainly serve the eastern Guangdong and Huizhou Sea areas under the jurisdiction of Shantou Navigation Mark Bureau, and will be used for the throwing, removal, inspection, maintenance and resetting of navigation aids such as the navigation channel buoys in the jurisdiction. It is of great significance to improve the daily maintenance of navigation mark and emergency response capability of Shantou Navigation Mark Office, to better ensure the safety of the navigation of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and to serve the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

"Sea Patrol 1717" is a 1200-ton fully-electric propelling medium-sized navigation vessel of the maritime system. It is China's first navigation vessel with operation on the stern deck and the first new medium-sized navigation vessel since the establishment of the South China Sea Navigation Support Center, and it will improve the integrated navigation system, and is of milestone significance for the high-quality development of the South China Sea Navigation Support Center.

国内首艘艉部甲板作业航标船列编汕头航标处

6月25日，海事系统首艘1200吨级全电力推进中型航标船“海巡1717”列编仪式在汕头举行。该航标船舶的建成列编，将主要服务于汕头航标处管辖的粤东及惠州海域，用于辖区内港口航道灯浮标等助航设施的抛投、撤除、检查、维修和复位等，对大幅提升汕头航标处航标日常管养水平和应急反应能力，更好地保障粤港澳大湾区往来船舶航行安全、服务粤港澳大湾区建设具有重大意义。

“海巡1717”为海事系统1200吨级全电力推进中型航标船首制船，作为国内首艘艉部甲板作业的航标船，也是南海航海保障中心成立以来首艘新建的中型航标船，将有助于完善一体化综合导助航体系，对南海航海保障中心的高质量发展具有里程碑式的意义。
