On the morning of September 16, the unveiling ceremony of the Foreign Personnel's Children School Affiliated to Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Shantou City, was held at the north campus of Guangdong Technion-Israel Institute of Technology. This is the first truly international school in the northwestern area of eastern Guangdong, which will fill the gaps in the educational type of Shantou and improve the educational function matching of Shantou as a provincial sub center city.
  
The Foreign Personnel's Children School Affiliated to GTIIT is located in the central part of the north campus of GTIIT. The school buildings are zoned according to functions, and classrooms, reading rooms, painting rooms, music rooms and activity areas are all available. The design style is fresh and natural, and the tone is lucid and lively. As a new school launched this year, the Foreign Personnel's Children School Affiliated to GTIIT plans to enroll 45 students in its first year, and will provide courses from kindergarten to sixth grade and will gradually add courses in later days until the courses of twelfth grade are available. It will provide the children of foreign teachers and staff in GTIIT and Shantou University with an American education system, which is taught in English. The private bilingual school for Chinese students enrolled in the first to ninth grades has also started planning and construction, and is expected to be launched at the same time as the south campus of GTIIT in 2021.The total enrollment quota of the two affiliated schools is expected to increase to 1,400 students, forming a complete international education system covering kindergarten, primary school, junior high school and high school.

广以附属外籍人员子女学校揭牌

9月16日上午，汕头市广东以色列理工学院附属外籍人员子女学校在广东以色列理工学院北校区举行揭牌仪式。这是粤东西北地区第一所真正意义上的国际学校，将填补我市教育类型上的空白，完善汕头作为省域副中心城市的教育功能配套。

广以附属外籍人员子女学校坐落于广以北校区中部，校舍按功能分区，教室、阅览室、绘画室、音乐室、活动区等一应俱全，设计风格清新自然，色调明快。今年启动的附属外籍人员子女学校首年计划招生45人，将开设幼儿园至六年级课程，往后逐渐增加至12年级，为广以和汕大的外籍教职员工子女提供以英语授课的美式教育体系。面向一至九年级中国籍学生招生的民办双语学校目前也启动规划建设，预计到2021年可与广以南校区同步启用。两所附属学校的总学位预计将增至1400个，形成覆盖幼儿园、小学、初中和高中各阶段的完整的国际化教育体系。
