On the morning of December 31, 2019, the Internet Hospital of Shantou Central Hospital, the first Internet hospital in East Guangdong, was officially launched whereby the patients can enjoy convenient services brought by "Internet + medical health" without leaving home.

The applet of WeChat is used as a carrier of Internet hospital, and the patients can enter the "Seek for Doctor and Medicine" of Internet hospital as long as they follow the WeChat Official Account of Shantou Central Hospital, free from downloading or installing any APPs. At present, the two major functions of online outpatient service and consultation for continuous prescription are available. Both functions can provide patients or returning patients suffering from chronic diseases with the prescriptions given by medical personnel who have professional qualifications, rich experience in diagnosis and treatment, and good service attitude. For patients' consultations concerning post-operative rehabilitation at home, online chronic disease management, online medication guidance, daily health management etc., the hospital medical personnel will give professional responses within 48 hours.

粤东首家互联网医院上线

　　2019年12月31日上午，粤东首家互联网医院、汕头市中心医院互联网医院正式上线，患者足不出户就可享受“互联网+医疗健康”带来的便捷服务。

　　该互联网医院以微信小程序为载体，患者无需下载或安装APP，只要关注中心医院公众号即可进入互联网医院“寻医问药”。目前已开通线上门诊和咨询续方两大功能。两个功能均能为慢病患者或复诊患者提供开方功能，提供服务的医务人员均具备专业资质、丰富的诊疗经验和良好的服务态度。对于患者术后居家康复、在线慢病管理、在线服药指导及日常健康管理等咨询，医院医务人员会在48小时内给予专业回复。
