On the afternoon of February 3rd, a batch of medical supplies donated by overseas Chinese in Thailand of Chaoshan origin and enthusiasts landed at Chaoshan Airport, as they wish to contribute to helping their hometown to win the battle against the NCP epidemic. Such supplies were delivered to various places to aid the NCP epidemic control efforts after the speedy completion of customs clearance and handover procedures with the assistance of Shantou Customs and China Southern Airlines. These aid supplies, with a total value of about RMB 355,000 yuan, were donated by Tio Chew Association of Thailand, Thailand Council for the Promotion of Peaceful Reunification of China, and Lin Chuzhao, a CPPCC Member at both provincial and municipal levels and a compatriot of Chaozhou origin.

旅泰侨胞捐赠首批救援物资抵汕

  为帮助家乡打赢疫情阻击战，2月3日下午，由泰国潮籍侨胞和热心人士捐赠给汕头的医护物资运抵潮汕机场，在汕头海关和南方航空公司等部门的通力协助下，迅速完成清关和交接手续，发往各地支援“抗疫”。这批捐赠物资总值人民币约35.5万元，分别由泰国潮州会馆、泰国中国和平统一促进会和省、市政协委员、潮籍乡亲林楚昭先生捐赠。
