From January 26, Shantou Central Hospital provided a special free consultation window for the prevention and treatment of "Novel Coronavirus Pneumonia" by using WeChat official account and Internet hospital platform, and quickly established a team of experts to conduct online consultation services to effectively guide the citizens to seek medical treatment.At the same time, the hospital also provides courier-to-home services of medicine for patients, allowing them to "stay at home" for obtaining diagnosis and treatment, as well as taking medicine.

According to the epidemic development trend and the actual situation of the hospital, Shantou Medical College has made misplaced arrangements for medical work with complementary functions, The First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College mainly responsible for  treat and cure of novel coronavirus pneumonia patients, and The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University Medical College retaining basic medical functions for trying to meet the medical needs of non-coronavirus pneumonia patients in Shantou.In addition, the First Affiliated Hospital of Shantou University  Medical College also uses the Internet and remote video consultation system to carry out Internet diagnosis and treatment services, and actively guides patients with common and chronic diseases to conduct re-examination through Internet medical treatment, reducing unnecessary hospital visits and avoiding cross infection.

汕头多家医院开展线上诊疗服务

        “新冠肺炎”疫情来袭后，市中心医院、汕大医学院第一附属医院、汕大医学院第二附属医院多措并举，采用互联网+医疗方式助力疫情防控，既减少更多的人员流动、避免交叉感染，也方便了有紧急需求的市民就医诊治。

        市中心医院从1月26日起，利用微信公众号、互联网医院平台，向市民群众提供“新冠肺炎”防治的专项免费咨询窗口，快速组建专家团队开展线上咨询服务，有效引导市民正确就医。同时，医院还为就诊患者提供把药物快递到家的服务，让患者“足不出户”就能达到诊疗、服药目的。

        汕大医学院也根据疫情发展态势及医院实际，对医疗工作进行了错位安排，功能互补，汕大医附一院主要做好新冠肺炎患者的救治工作，汕大医附二院全面保留基本医疗功能，尽量满足我市非新冠肺炎患者的就医需求。此外，汕大医附一院也利用网络、远程视频会诊系统等，开展互联网诊疗服务，积极引导常见病、慢性病患者通过互联网医疗进行复诊，减少不必要的医院就诊，避免交叉感染。
