In order to give full play to the service and driving role of industrial design in the city's industrial transformation and upgrading, the work collection of thethird Shantou "Mayor Cup" Industrial Design Competition was officially launched on March 22, which is taken as the platform and grip to support design-driven enterprises, cultivate design innovation talents, incubate design innovation achievements, create industrial innovation models, and promote the integration of industrial design and relevant industries.

This year's competition, based on the theme of "Industry Powered by Design", was held openly for participants such as enterprises, institutions, colleges, individuals or teams at home and abroad. In principle, all entries must be the original works completed after July 1, 2018, with full intellectual property rights.

汕头第三届“市长杯”工业设计大赛作品征集启动

为充分发挥工业设计对我市产业转型升级的服务和驱动作用，以大赛为平台和抓手，扶持设计驱动型企业，培育设计创新人才，孵化设计创新成果，打造产业创新模式，推动工业设计与相关产业融合发展，我市第三届“市长杯”工业设计大赛作品征集于3月22日正式启动。

  本届大赛以“设计赋能产业”为主题，实行开放办赛，国（境）内外企业、机构、院校、个人或团队均可参赛。所有参赛作品原则上须是2018年7月1日后完成的原创作品，具有完全的知识产权。
