On the morning of June 18, the applet for public voting of emblem, slogan and mascot for Shantou 2021 Asian Youth Games was officially launched on the WeChat public account "Yaqing Shantou", marking the official start of the review work. The public can participate in the review activity through online voting, and select the emblem, slogan and mascot of the third Asian Youth Games together with domestic experts.

Since November 2019, the Preparatory Office of the Shantou Asian Youth Games has announced to solicit design works of emblem, slogan and mascot globally for the third Asian Youth Games. Up to April 30, 2020, a total of 4,447 works have been received, including 737 works for emblem, 291 works for mascot, and 3,419 works for slogan.

From June 18 to July 2, citizens can vote through the applet. After the close of online voting, the sponsor will organize expert review to select 10 finalists of emblem works, 5 mascot works and 5 slogan works, and verify the copyright of the selected works. The authors of the finalists will be invited to Shantou for on-site speech and evaluation, and the final work will be selected. The final evaluation will be completed before the end of July and the results will be publicized for 7 days, after which the final works will be fully promoted.

第三届亚青会会徽、口号、吉祥物网络投票通道开启

6月18日上午，汕头2021年亚青会会徽、口号、吉祥物公众投票小程序在“亚青汕头”微信公众号正式上线，标志着评审工作正式启动。公众可通过网络投票参与评审活动，与国内专家一起评选出第三届亚青会的会徽、口号和吉祥物。

　　自2019年11月起，汕头亚青会筹备办向全球发布征集第三届亚洲青年运动会会徽、主题口号、吉祥物的设计方案，截至2020年4月30日，共收到稿件4447件，其中会徽737件、吉祥物291件、口号3419条。

6月18日至7月2日，市民可通过小程序进行投票。网络投票截止后，主办方将组织专家评选，评出10件入围的会徽作品、5件吉祥物作品和5条口号作品，并对入选作品进行版权复核。最终入围的作品作者将被邀请到汕头进行现场讲稿评选，选出最终方案。终评结果在7月底前完成并公示7天，公示结束后全面推广投放。
