On the morning of June 18, the first cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded import goods in Eastern Guangdong was successfully cleared by the Customs in the Shantou Integrated Free Trade Zone, which marked the official implementation of the cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded import business in Eastern Guangdong area. This is also the first cross-border e-commerce online shopping bonded import business launched in Shantou Free Trade Zone since it was approved to build an integrated free trade zone in March. This means that the people of Eastern Guangdong can easily do Global Shopping near their home.

The State Council has formally approved the establishment of the Shantou Integrated Free Trade Zone this March, bringing a new impetus for Shantou's construction of a new open system. To give full play to the overlapped policy advantages  of the Shantou integrated Free Trade Zone and the Shantou Cross-border E-commerce Comprehensive Pilot Zone, the district are actively exploring the development of  new types of foreign trade such as cross-border e-commerce. Through precise attraction of investment, the district is operating with Alibaba Group Tmall (International) to make innovative business plans. Currently, a batch of e-commerce platforms, such as Beinoen's Cross-border Purchase and GiMay Global Purchase under the Monbon Group have successively entered the Shantou Integrated Free Trade Zone and started their operations.

　　粤东首单跨境电商网购保税进口业务在汕头综保区启动

　　6月18日上午，粤东首单跨境电商网购保税进口商品在汕头综合保税区顺利通关，标志着跨境电商网购保税进口业务正式在粤东地区落地。这也是汕头保税区自3月获批建设综合保税区后，启动的首单跨境电商网购保税进口业务，意味着粤东人民群众在家门口即可实现“全球购”。

　　今年3月国务院正式批复设立汕头综合保税区，为汕头构建开放型新体制注入了新动力。为充分发挥汕头综合保税区和汕头跨境电商综试区的政策叠加优势，该区积极探索发展跨境电商等外贸新业态。通过精准招商，正与阿里巴巴集团天猫（国际）制订业务创新方案。目前，万邦集团旗下的百诺恩跨境购、智美全球购等一批电商平台已相继入驻汕头综保区并开始运营。
