From now on, medical insurance participants in our city can enjoy the convenience brought by the medical insurance code after activating their medical insurance electronic voucher on Alipay or WeChat. They do not need to show their medical insurance cards when seeing a doctor or buying medicines as they can pay directly just by showing the QR code in their mobile phone. Besides, the details of each medical insurance payment can be easily inquired.

As of July 12, there have been 972 devices in 123 designated medical institutions and 582 designated retail pharmacies in the city that have been upgraded, which means that "electronic medical insurance" has entered the daily lives of the citizens.

　　汕头医保参保人可凭医保电子凭证看病买药

　　从现在起，我市医保参保人在支付宝或微信等激活医保电子凭证后，即可享受医保码带来的便利，看病、买药无需再带医保卡，出示手机里的二维码就可以直接支付。除此之外，每笔医保支付明细都可以轻松查询，一目了然。

　　截至7月12日，全市已有123家定点医疗机构和582家定点零售药店共972台设备完成升级，意味着“电子医保”已进入市民日常生活。
