The main section of the Main Bridge of Rongjiang River, a decisive project of the Chaozhou-Shantou Loop Expressway, was successfully closed on August 10, marking a major step towards the completion for traffic by the end of this year.

The Main Bridge of Rongjiang River has a total length of 4.8 kilometers and a bridge deck width of 33.5 meters, which allows a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour on its two-way six-lane way. All parties involved in the project had overcome various unfavorable factors, and continuously optimized the construction plan to ensure the completion of goal at each node. In the next stage, the construction unit will speed up the progress of work in road surface, traffic safety, and mechanical and electrical construction. It is expected that all remaining projects will be completed by the end of December when Chaozhou-Shantou Loop Expressway will be able to be fully open to traffic.

榕江特大桥成功合龙

　   潮汕环线高速公路控制性工程榕江特大桥主桥8月10日成功合龙，标志着项目朝今年底全线建成通车的目标迈进了一大步。

榕江特大桥全长4.8公里，双向六车道，桥面宽度为33.5米，设计时速100公里。项目参建各方克服多种不利因素，不断优化施工方案，确保了各个节点目标的完成。下阶段，施工单位将加快路面、交安、机电施工进程，预计12月底完成所有剩余工程，确保年底潮汕环线高速公路全线建成通车。
