On August 11, the Smart Making Cloud Valley in Shantou High-tech Zone was officially open to the public, and the Shantou-Huawei Industrial Internet Innovation Center, meanwhile, was launched.
The Shantou-Huawei Industrial Internet Innovation Center is set up to provide Shantou enterprises with a public service platform for industrial Internet communication. The construction of the projects involves 8 major functional areas including Huawei Innovation Practice Area, Ecological Application Area, Industrial Cooperation Area, Developer Experience Area, Platform Empowerment Area, and Multi-functional Training Area. It will carry out industrial Internet projects in conjunction with Aoxing Optical Communication, Xinrui Technology, and Shantou Lekai, Sirio Pharma, Yinglian and Shanghai Electric, promoting the replication and promotion of these industry leaders' implementation cases within the industry. Taking the advantage of the "Role Effect", which may produce a radiation effect, Shantou's manufacturing will be powered to step into the stage of intelligent production.
Smart Making Cloud Valley is known as the first artificial intelligence innovation industrial park in eastern Guangdong, with a service system of "four major platforms and three major centers" built inside, including public service platform, industrial service platform, incubation service platform, life service platform, membership center, operation management center, and government data management center. There are more than 30 companies that have entered or set up exhibition halls in the park. It strives to become a regional leading artificial intelligence industry demonstration base and a national technology project incubator.

汕头高新区智造云谷开园
8月11日，汕头高新区智造云谷正式开园，汕头-华为工业互联网创新中心同时启用。
汕头-华为工业互联网创新中心旨在为汕头企业提供工业互联网交流的公共服务平台。项目建设内容主要包括华为创新实践区、生态应用区、产业合作区、开发者体验区、平台赋能区、多功能培训区等8大功能区域，将联合奥星光通信、鑫瑞科技、汕头乐凯、仙乐健康、英联股份、上海电气6家企业开展工业互联网项目合作，推动这些行业龙头的落地案例在业内复制推广，起到以点带面的标杠效应，为汕头制造业向智能化生产迈进贡献力量。
智造云谷是粤东首个人工智能创新产业园，目前已建成公共服务平台、产业服务平台、产孵服务平台、生活服务平台和会员中心、运营管理中心、政务数据管理中心“四大平台、三大中心”服务体系，有30多家企业入驻或设置展厅，力争打造区域具有引领示范性作用的人工智能产业示范基地和国家级科技项目孵化器。
