Since September 11, the three-day 2020 China (Guangdong) International Tourism Industry Expo (the "Guangdong Tourism Industry Expo") has been unveiled in Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Exhibition Area in Guangzhou. Our city organized relevant units from districts and counties to participate in the exhibition, which has fully recommended Shantou's high-quality tourism resources to attract more tourists from home and abroad to visit Shantou.   

This year's Guangdong Tourism Industry Expo was sponsored by the Guangdong Tourism Development Research Center. It is the first major international culture & travel event held in Guangdong in the context of the important phased results achieved in domestic epidemic prevention and control, accelerated restoration of economic and social order, and active work and production resumption in cultural and tourism industries. Themed by "Sea in the Middle of the City, Flavor to be Discovered in Shantou", the Shantou Pavilion showcased the unique tourism charm of the six districts and one county of our city through publicity panels, brochures, on-site consultation, exhibitions and performances, etc. Kung Fu Tea art performances, Chenghai printmaking skills display, paper cutting works display, Chaoshan braised food, beef meatballs, fish balls, Donghua Village specialty "music grapes" and other delicacies have attracted the attention of many guests visiting Shantou.

汕头组团参加2020年广东旅博会

　　9日11日，为期3天的2020年广东国际旅游产业博览会(简称“广东旅博会”）在广州中国进出口商品交易会展馆A区开幕，我市组织区县相关单位参展，全方位推介汕头优质的旅游资源，吸引更多海内外游客来汕旅游观光。

  本届广东旅博会由广东省旅游发展研究中心主办，是国内疫情防控取得阶段性重要成效和经济社会秩序加快恢复、文化和旅游业积极复工复产的情况下举办的广东首场重大国际文旅盛会。汕头馆以“海在城中央，寻味到汕头”为主题，依托宣传展板、宣传手册、现场咨询、展演展示等方式，展示我市六区一县独特的旅游魅力。工夫茶艺表演、澄海版画技艺展示、剪纸作品展示以及潮汕卤味、牛肉丸、鱼丸、东华村特产“音乐葡萄”等各种美食，吸引了众多外地宾客的关注。
