Recently, our city has regulated the traffic order, advocated civilized travel, and created a courteous and harmonious traffic environment with significant effect. More courtesy in front of the zebra crossing, less congestion when getting onto the bus, and more greetings in the taxi—these subtle changes make it possible for the citizens to perceive the new outlook, atmosphere and changes, thanks to the building of civilization. This change in the traffic civilization reflects Shantou's determination to place increasingly tough regulation on the traffic environment, and persistent pursuit of building a civilized and safe Shantou.

汕头城市文明彰显秩序之美

　　近日，我市规范交通秩序，倡导文明出行，着力打造礼让、和谐的交通出行环境效果显著。斑马线前多了一份礼让、公交车前少了一份拥挤、出租车上多了一声问候……这些悄然发生的变化让市民切实体会到文明创建带来的新风貌、新气象、新变化。这道交通文明靓丽风景线的背后，是汕头不断加大交通环境整治力度的决心，也是建设文明平安汕头的执着追求。
