Between October 18 to 19, an Eastern Guangdong Visiting Mission of Youth Backbones from associations in Macau with Yu Xiangjun, Deputy Director of the Coordination Department of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau S.A.R.,   as the honorary head, and He Ningying, Chairman of the Guangxi Youth Friendship Association in Macau, as the head, came to Shantou for investigation.

Members of the visiting mission are mainly composed of the youth backbones in Macao's patriotic associations who perform well in their work and are promising in development. During their stays in Shantou, the delegation visited the Shantou Museum of the Culture of Opening the Commercial Port and the Xiao Pue Museum to learn more about the history of Shantou' s opening of the commercial port and the development achievements of the special economic zone as well as the Pue history and Chaoshan overseas Chinese culture. Besides, the mission also visited the main venue of the Asian Youth Games, the Municipal Overseas and Ethnic Chinese Cultural Exchange Base, the former residence of Chen Cihong and Nan'ao Island to personally experience the new atmosphere of Shantou' s economic and social development and the profound charm of the traditional Chaoshan culture through on-site visits, experiences and exchanges.

澳门社团青年骨干粤东访问团莅汕考察

10月18日至19日，由澳门中联办协调部副部长余向军任名誉团长、澳门广西青年联谊会会长何凝莹任团长的澳门社团青年骨干粤东访问团莅汕考察访问。

  此次访问团成员主要由在澳门社团工作中表现优秀、具有良好发展潜力的澳门爱国社团青年骨干组成。在汕期间，访问团一行参观了汕头开埠文化陈列馆和侨批文物馆，深入了解汕头开埠历史、经济特区发展成就，以及侨批历史和潮汕华侨文化。此外，访问团还先后到亚青会主场馆和市华侨华人文化交流基地、陈慈黉故居、南澳岛等，以实地探访、体验和交流等多种方式，切身感受汕头经济社会发展的新气象和潮汕传统文化的深厚魅力。
