Following the breakthrough of the east-west line of the bay tunnel, the Chaoshan History and Culture Expo Center will be put into service in May next year, and the Nanbin South Road will be completed as well in June next year. The new city on the south bank of Shantou Bay is quietly emerging.

Chaoshan History and Culture Expo Park is located in the axis business district of Binhai New City and is one of the landmarks of the Binhai New City. The Expo Park covers a total construction area of about 100,000 square meters, with Chaoshan culture as its theme. It consists of Chaoshan History and Culture Expo Center, Chaoshan Historic Heritage Commercial Street, and Chaoshan Cultural Park, showing the history and culture of Shantou since it was opened as a commercial port over a century ago and the sense of the times continuing with the past and opening up the future. As a Chaoshan cultural exhibition and exchange complex, Chaoshan History and Culture Expo Center includes art pavilion, general pavilion, intangible cultural heritage pavilion, overseas Chinese pavilion, and general Chaoshan history museums. In the future, the citizens can learn about the historical context and customs of Chaoshan culture, and experience the spirit of overseas Chao People striving for doing business and continuing to forge ahead.

汕头潮汕历史文化博览中心明年5月交付使用

继实现海湾隧道东西线贯通之后，潮汕历史文化博览中心将于明年5月交付使用，南滨南路也将于明年6月完工，汕头湾南岸新城正在悄然崛起。

  潮汕历史文化博览园位于滨海新城中轴线商圈，是滨海新城的地标之一。博览园总建筑面积约10万平方米，以潮汕文化为主题，由潮汕历史文化博览中心、潮汕历史风情商业街、潮汕文化公园三个区组成，展现汕头百年开埠的历史文化和继往开来的时代气息。潮汕历史文化博览中心作为潮汕文化展示交流综合体，设有美术馆、通用馆、非遗馆、华侨馆、潮汕通史馆等，未来市民可在此了解到潮汕文化历史发展脉络和风土人情，感受潮人华侨经商打拼、继往开来的奋斗精神。
