Recently, Natenapa Kongsri, Consul General of Royal Thai Consulate General in Guangzhou, led a delegation to visit Shantou and held talks with the city on further enhancing Shan-Thai friendship and deepening Shan-Thai economic, trade and cultural cooperation.

In the talks, Ma Wentian, Secretary of the CPC Shantou Municipal Committee, hoped that the Consul General would actively introduce he achievements of Shantou’s economic and social development to the Thai people and invite more Thai enterprises to invest in Shantou, further deepen the exchanges and cooperation between the two places in the fields of economy, trade, culture, education, and share the fruit of Shantou's reform and development. Natenapa Kongsri said that he would take this visit as an opportunity to further promote economic and trade cooperation and friendly exchanges between Shantou and Thailand, and between China and Thailand. The Royal Thai Consulate General in Guangzhou will continue to play a good role as a bridge, share the information of this visit to Shantou with Thai enterprises in Guangdong, vigorously promote Shantou, and boost the pragmatic cooperation between Thailand and Shantou in a wider field and higher level, to work together for win-win development.

泰国驻广州总领事一行莅汕

近日，泰国驻广州总领事馆总领事宏希带队莅汕访问，与我市就进一步增进汕泰友谊，深化汕泰经贸文化合作进行交流。

  市委书记马文田在座谈中希望总领事积极向泰国人民介绍汕头经济社会发展成就，邀请推介更多泰国企业到汕头投资兴业，进一步深化两地在经贸、文化、教育等领域的交流合作，共享汕头改革发展红利。宏希表示，将以此次访问为契机，进一步推进汕头与泰国、中国与泰国的经贸合作与友好往来。泰国驻广州总领事馆将继续发挥好桥梁纽带作用，向泰国驻粤企业分享此次在汕访问考察情况，大力宣传推介汕头，助推泰汕两地在更宽领域更高层次开展务实合作，携手共赢发展。
