In recent years, our city has deeply practiced the new era of water control thinking of "Water-saving First, Spatial Balance, Systematic Management, and Efforts through Two Methods". By planning from a high starting point, all around coverage and efforts through multiple channels, it has reflected urban water-saving work throughout the economic and social development, realizing the efficient use, conservation and protection of water resources in our city.

Recently, our city was named the 10th batch (in the year of 2020) of national water-saving cities by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the National Development and Reform Commission.

　　汕头获评第十批国家节水型城市

　　近年来，我市深入践行“节水优先、空间均衡、系统治理、两手发力”新时代治水思路，高起点谋划，全方位覆盖，多渠道发力，把城市节水工作贯穿于经济社会发展全过程，实现我市水资源的高效利用、节约和保护。

　　近日，我市被住建部和国家发改委命名为第十批（2020年度）国家节水型城市。
