On the morning of March 10,the closure of Xinjin River Bridge on Zhongyang Avenue (east extension of Zhongshan East Road) was successfully finished, taking a solid step towards the goal of opening to traffic at the end of June.

The bridge is a key traffic node from the central city to the main stadium of the East Coastal New Town Asian Youth Games. The main bridge is 519 meters, 44 meters wide, with two-way eight lanes. It is a single-tower double-cable-plane mixed-beam cable-stayed bridge; the main tower is 145 meters high, in a graceful shape of water drop, symbolizing the marine culture of the Chaoshan area. Glass curtain wall decoration is set on the top of the main tower to show different theme effects according to different celebration themes or festivals, which gives rich variability and creativity. After completion, with lighting decoration, it will become a landmark architectural landscape.

　　汕头中阳大道新津河大桥合龙

　　3月10日上午，中阳大道（中山东路东延）新津河大桥成功合龙，向6月底建成通车的目标迈出坚实一步。

　　该桥是中心城区通往东海岸新城亚青会主场馆的关键交通节点，主桥519米，宽44米，双向八车道，为独塔双索面混合梁斜拉桥；主塔高145米，塔形体呈水滴状，形态优雅，象征着潮汕地区的海洋文化。主塔顶部设置玻璃幕墙装饰，根据不同庆祝主题或节日，显示不同的主题效果，具有丰富的可变性和创意性，建成后配合灯光装饰，将成地标性建筑景观。
