In order to promote people-to-people exchanges between China and foreign countries, tell Chinese stories well, and effectively integrate cultural resources, from the end of 2017 to 2019, our city has successively established 4 "Shantou Hailian Cultural Stations" based on the Teochew associates in Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, and Malaysia, to build a position for cultural exchange and cooperation. Through various exchange activities, the station has helped Chaoshan’s excellent traditional culture to "go global", and strengthened the cultural centripetal force of overseas Chaoshan people at the same time, and contributed to building an important development pole for the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Next, our city will continue to promote the establishment of stations in the Teochew associates in Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and other countries to better create a common spiritual home for a vast number of overseas Chinese.

　　“汕头海联文化驿站”以文化促交流聚侨心

　　为推进中外人文交流、讲好中国故事、有效整合文化资源，2017年底至2019年，我市先后依托香港、澳门、泰国、马来西亚的潮团，设立4个“汕头海联文化驿站”，构筑开展文化交流和合作的阵地。驿站通过开展形式多样的交流活动，在助力潮汕优秀传统文化“走出去”的同时，增强了海外潮人的文化向心力，为打造现代化沿海经济带重要发展极，推进国家“一带一路”建设贡献力量和智慧。

　　接下来，我市将继续推动在柬埔寨、老挝和菲律宾等国家的潮籍社团中设立驿站，更好打造广大海外侨胞共同的精神家园。
