From April, Shantou will launch a mass vaccination program of 2019-nCoV vaccine  throughout the city, providing free 2019-nCoV vaccination services for residents aged 18 to 59 years old (not limited to household registration) living in the city to better protect the health of citizens.

According to the workscheme, the health administrative departments and medical and health institutions at all levels in our city will do a good job of investing, planning in advance, and scientifically, reasonably and accurately setting up each vaccination unit, increase investment, and enhance the city's vaccination service capacity. Experts also reminded that in terms of personal prevention and control, before the mass vaccination in China reaches a higher level of immune protection, regardless of whether people are vaccinated or not, they still need to continue to wear masks in crowded indoor or closed places, and follow the specific prevention and control measures of different places.

　　汕头将开展新冠病毒疫苗大规模人群接种工作

　　从4月开始，汕头将在全市开展新冠病毒疫苗大规模人群接种工作，为居住在我市18至59岁的居民（且不限户籍）提供免费新冠疫苗接种服务，更好地守护市民健康。

　　根据工作部署，我市各级卫生健康行政部门、医疗卫生机构将做好排查摸底工作，提前谋划，科学、合理、精准地设置各接种单元，加大投入，提升我市接种服务能力。专家同时提醒，在个人防控方面，我国在人群疫苗接种达到较高免疫保护水平之前，无论是否接种疫苗，在人群聚集的室内或封闭的场所仍然需要继续佩戴口罩，并遵循各地具体的防控措施要求。
