For the convenience of people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, relieving the vaccination pressure of the vaccination stations, reducing the waiting time of residents, and avoiding crowd gathering, Shantou City has put into use temporary large stations for people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, to promote the work for the residents to receive a COVID-19 vaccine more safely, orderly and efficiently, and jointly build an immune barrier.

On May 21, Longhu District established the first temporary large station for people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at Xinxi Hospital of the Medical Community Group of Longhu District. The temporary vaccination station is composed of well-trained healthcare professionals from the hospitals at the levels of Shantou City and Longhu District. It can open up to 80 vaccination platforms at the same time, which can receive 4,000 people for vaccination.

On May 27, Jinping District established the first large station for people to receive a COVID-19 vaccine at No.1 Longyan Road (the basketball court of China Telecom). The temporary vaccination station is composed of well-trained healthcare professionals from the hospitals at the levels of Shantou City and Jinping District. It can open up to 50 vaccination platforms at the same time. It is estimated that the average daily inoculation volume can reach 10,000 doses.

汕头投用大型新冠疫苗临时接种点　　

为方便广大群众接种新冠疫苗，缓解各个接种点的接种压力，减少居民排队等候时间，避免人群聚集，我市投用大型新冠疫苗临时接种点，更加安全、有序、高效推进居民新冠疫苗接种工作，共筑免疫屏障。

5月21日，龙湖区在区医共体集团新溪医院建立首个新冠疫苗大型临时接种点，该临时接种点由市、区各家医院抽调精干医护人员组成，最多可同时开放80个接种台，接收4000名市民接种疫苗。

        5月27日，金平区在龙眼路1号（中国电信篮球场）建立首个新冠疫苗大型接种点，该临时接种点由市、区各家医院抽调精干医护人员组成，最多可同时开放50个接种台，预计日均接种量能够达到1万剂次。
