Recently, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People’s Republic of China released lists of the third batch of national key villages for rural tourism and the first batch of national key towns (townships) for rural tourism. Donghua Village in Longtian Town, Chaonan District, Shantou City was selected as one of the third group of national key villages for rural tourism.

Donghua Village is located on the south bank of the lower reaches of the Lianjiang River, with obvious characteristics of an area of rivers and lakes and excellent ecological environment. In 2019, it was selected as one of the "Guangdong Province Cultural Tourism Characteristic Villages" and "Shantou City's Top Ten Internet Celebrity Villages". In 2020, it was awarded the "Guangdong Province’s Top Ten Villages of Rural Vitalization". In 2021, it has become a national 3A-level tourist attraction.

　　汕头东华村上榜“全国乡村游重点村”

　　近日，文化和旅游部发布第三批全国乡村旅游重点村名单和第一批全国乡村旅游重点镇（乡）名单，我市潮南区陇田镇东华村入选第三批全国乡村旅游重点村。

　　东华村地处练江下游南岸，水乡特色明显，生态环境优良。2019年获“广东省文化旅游特色村”“汕头市十大网红乡村”；2020年荣获“广东省乡村振兴十强村”；2021年成为国家3A级旅游景区。
