As the Mid-Autumn Festival is approaching, on the morning of September 17, the "Nowhere as in Our Native Place is the Moon so Bright - Chaoshan Culture Goes Global" series of activities, which were jointly organized by the Bureau of Overseas Chinese Affairs of Shantou Municipality and Shantou Media Group, were officially launched.

The launching ceremony included the debut ceremony of the six episode series of feature film "Cantonese Cuisine Master • Chaoshan Food of Thousands of Chefs Shared by People Worldwide", the starting ceremony of the first Global Chao People Photography Exhibition, a series of activities of the global lantern riddle creation competition, and a series of online interviews with overseas Chao people on the Mid-Autumn Festival.The sponsor stated that through the development of a series of activities, the Chaoshan culture with distinctive regional characteristics will be promoted overseas, the culture of the hometown will be used to enrich the holiday cultural life of overseas fellow villagers, and create a shared spiritual home for overseas Chao people.

　　“月是故乡明——潮汕文化海外行”系列活动启动

　　在中秋佳节即将到来之际，9月17日上午，由汕头市侨务局和汕头融媒集团联合举办的“月是故乡明——潮汕文化海外行”系列活动正式启动。

　　启动仪式包括六集系列专题片《粤菜师傅·四海同享之千厨潮味》开播仪式、首届世界潮人摄影大展启动仪式、全球灯谜创作大赛系列活动、海外潮人云端话佳节系列访谈等。主办方表示，将通过系列活动的开展，把具有鲜明地域特色的潮汕文化推广到海外，用家乡的文化丰富海外乡亲的节日文化生活，打造海外潮人共同的精神家园。
