On the evening of September 23, the CCTV 2021 Chinese Farmers’ Harvest Festival Gala was broadcasted on CCTV-1 and CCTV-17, the first time that the event took place in a main venue outside Beijing.

The main stage of the event was set up in the Shantou Chaoshanese History and Culture Expo Center, a complex with vivid Chaoshanese features. The stage designed in the form of a big ship was decorated with traditional cultural symbols such as Chinese emblazonry and Chinese drums to produce an ambiance of celebration. During the party, traditional culture was combined with modern high technologies, and Shantou’s Yingge dance, lion dance and carp dance were staged as local specialties. Intangible cultural heritages and folk culture from Shantou were also represented during the event. As the symbol innovation, Kangkang and Meimei, two Harvest Babies, were designed as virtual mascots, and they joined Shantou paper-cutting, Chaozhou embroidery and other intangible cultural heritages for a perfect combination of technology and culture. The other high-tech elements that appeared during the celebration were formations of drones, 5G hydrogen fuel unmanned electric tractors, 5G multi-screen technology, dancing robots, etc.

　　中央广播电视总台2021年《中国农民丰收节晚会》走进汕头

　　9月23日晚，中央广播电视总台2021年《中国农民丰收节晚会》在CCTV-1和CCTV-17频道播出，这是中央广播电视总台丰收节晚会主会场首次走出北京。

　　本届“丰晚”主舞台搭建于具有鲜明潮汕特色的汕头潮汕历史文化博览中心，舞美设计以“一艘大船”为主造型，舞台中融入中国纹饰、中国鼓等传统文化符号，渲染出浓浓的节庆氛围。晚会还体现了传统文化与现代高科技结合，英歌舞、舞狮、鲤鱼舞等具有汕头地方特色的元素在晚会中呈现，汕头的非遗项目、民俗文化融入节目中。晚会还创新性地设计了“康康”“美美”两个“丰收宝宝”作为虚拟吉祥物，搭配汕头剪纸、潮州刺绣等非物质文化遗产，实现科技与文化的完美对接。无人机编队、5G氢燃料无人驾驶电动拖拉机、5G跨屏技术、跳舞机器人等高科技元素也在晚会中呈现。
