In the just announced selection of the 35th Tian Han Drama Award, the newly compiled historical Chaozhou opera "Embroidered Tiger", which was mainly created by Guangdong Chiu-Chow Opera Theatre, ranked first in the Tian Han Drama Award Play Prize. This is the first Chaozhou opera from Shantou City that won the Tian Han Drama Award Play Prize. It is an important achievement in promoting the high-quality development of Chaozhou opera.

The annual Tian Han Drama Award is an influential academic award in China's theatrical circles. The evaluation takes the professional level of the works as the only standard. The Chaozhou opera "Embroidered Tiger" is deduced from the Beijing folk drama "The Emperor's Club". It tells the cruel struggles and contests that Cao Zhi and Cao Pi, the sons of Cao Cao, experienced in the process of succession to the throne in the late Eastern Han Dynasty.

　　潮剧《绣虎》获田汉戏剧奖剧目奖

　　在刚刚揭晓的第35届田汉戏剧奖评选中，由广东潮剧院重点打造的新编历史潮剧《绣虎》名列田汉戏剧奖剧目奖榜首。这是我市首个获得田汉戏剧奖剧目奖的潮剧剧目，是推动潮剧事业高质量发展的一项重要成果。

　　一年一度的田汉戏剧奖是中国戏剧界具有重要影响力的学术奖项，评审以作品的专业水准作为唯一标准。潮剧《绣虎》由北京人艺话剧《天之骄子》演绎而来，讲述东汉末年曹操之子曹植、曹丕在王位继承过程中所历经的残酷斗争与较量。
