In recent years, Shantou City has vigorously advanced the construction of energy projects, continuously optimized the energy structure, developed clean and environmentally friendly industries, and achieved green and sustainable economic development. At present, the construction of these major projects covering various energy fields, such as natural gas pipelines, central heating, offshore wind power, power plants and power grid projects, have been stepped up. When they are completed and put into operation, they will better optimize the environment and improve the people's wellbeing.

At present, Shantou section of the supporting pipeline project of the first phase of the Eastern Guangdong Liquefied Natural Gas Project has been basically completed as the main natural gas pipeline in Shantou City. The project includes one main pipeline and two branch pipelines, with a total length of about 107 kilometers, passing through Chaonan District, Chaoyang District, and Chenghai District. After the completion of the project, it will be interconnected with the gas supply branch line project of Shante Gas Turbine Plant under construction, provide clean energy for Shantou's main urban area and power plant users, help to reduce the gas consumption cost of enterprises and residents in Shantou City, alleviate the pressure of worsening air quality, and further improve the safety and reliability of natural gas supply in Shantou City.

　　汕头持续推进能源项目建设

　　近年来，我市大力推进能源项目建设，不断优化能源结构，发展清洁环保产业，实现经济绿色可持续发展。目前，这些覆盖天然气管道、集中供热、海上风电、电厂及电网工程等各能源领域的重大项目均加紧推进，建成投产后将更好地优化环境、改善民生。

　　目前，我市已基本建成的天然气主干管道有粤东液化天然气项目一期工程配套管线工程汕头段。该工程建设一条干线两条支线，全长约107公里，途经潮南、潮阳、澄海3区。工程建成后将与在建的汕特燃机电厂供气支线项目实现互联互通，为我市主城区及电厂用户提供清洁能源，并有助于降低我市企业和居民用气成本，缓解空气质量压力，进一步提高我市天然气供应的安全性和可靠性。
