Recently, all districts and counties in Shantou City have started orderly COVID-19 vaccination for people aged 3 to 11, involving a target population of more than 700,000. The entire vaccination process is planned to be completed by the end of this year.

At present, the policy of providing vaccinations free of charge is still applicable for the COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 3 to 11.In accordance with the principles of localized management, convenience and easy access, the students in the school (kindergarten) will be notified by the school (kindergarten) to take the COVID-19 vaccine at the school (kindergarten) in a centralized manner, or go to the COVID-19 vaccination stations near their homes to take the COVID-19 vaccine; for the children who fail to participate in the centralized vaccination or for the children who are not students in school (kindergarten), their guardians can take them to the COVID-19 vaccination stations near their homes to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

　　汕头启动3至11岁人群新冠疫苗接种

　　近日，我市各区县有序启动3至11岁人群新冠病毒疫苗接种工作，涉及目标人群超过70万人，计划于年底完成全程接种。

　　目前，3至11岁儿童新冠病毒疫苗接种依然实行居民免费政策。按照属地管理、就近方便的原则，在校在园学生由学校（幼儿园）通知，到学校（幼儿园）组织集中接种，或到居住地附近的新冠病毒疫苗接种点接种新冠病毒疫苗；未能参加集中接种或非在校在园儿童，可由监护人带领到居住地附近的新冠病毒疫苗接种点接种。
