From November 2 to 3, the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Guangdong Province and the Shantou Municipal People's Government held the 4th Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area "Chefs of Cantonese Cuisine" Skills Competition and Cantonese Cuisine Industry Cultural Exchange Event at the Expo Center of Chaoshan History and Culture.
The theme of this competition is "Let the World Love Cantonese Cuisine", aiming to promote the culture of Cantonese cuisine to the world, build up the credentials of "Chefs of Cantonese Cuisine", cultivate and select skilled talents - "Chefs of Cantonese Cuisine", and promote the integrated development of the Cantonese cuisine industry. This competition includes the skills competition, the show of a hundred chefs, the release of famous chefs and famous shops and the awarding ceremony, "Global Cantonese Cuisine Chefs Sharing Ideas" online connection, expert forums, and the displays of regions and cities. A total of 135 chefs from 21 regions and cities as well as Hong Kong and Macao took part in the fierce competition and skills exchange. In the list of selected famous Cantonese chefs, famous shops and famous products, Chen Jinquan, Gao Tingyuan and Cai Zhenrong from Shantou City were recognized as the five-star "Chefs of Cantonese Cuisine" in Guangdong Province, and Ji Ruixi was recognized as the four-star "Chef of Cantonese Cuisine" in Guangdong Province.

第四届粤港澳大湾区“粤菜师傅”技能大赛在汕举行
11月2日至3日,广东省人力资源和社会保障厅联合汕头市人民政府在汕头潮博馆举办第四届粤港澳大湾区“粤菜师傅”技能大赛暨粤菜产业文化交流活动。
本届大赛主题为“让世界爱上广东味”,旨在向世界弘扬传播粤菜文化,打响“粤菜师傅”金字招牌,培养选拔“粤菜师傅”技能人才,推动粤菜产业融合发展。大赛包括技能竞赛、百厨群英会展示、名厨名店名品发布及颁奖、“粤菜师傅·四海同享”全球连线、专家论坛和地市展示等,来自全省21个地市以及香港、澳门地区135名厨艺大师进行激烈比拼和技艺交流。在粤菜名厨、名店、名品入选名单中,我市陈进全、高庭源、蔡振荣被认定为广东省五星级“粤菜师傅”名厨,纪瑞喜被认定为广东省四星级“粤菜师傅”名厨。
