For the purpose of further advancing the construction of Chaoshan Bridge and improving the transport conditions between Shantou and Chaozhou, on the morning of November 6, Longhu District of Shantou City and Chao'an District of Chaozhou City jointly held a signing ceremony for the joint construction of Chaoshan Bridge Project, clarifying and identifying the rights and obligations of both parties in the application for approval, bidding, construction, demolition, follow-up management and maintenance, and cost bearing of the Project.

Chaoshan Bridge is an important transportation infrastructure for the one-hour living circle of "Shantou, Chaozhou and Jieyang", with a total length of 1.44 km. It starts from North Taishan Road in Longhu District, Shantou City, extends northward across Meixi River, and ends connecting with Zhanqian Road, Chao'an District, Chaozhou City, with a total budget of RMB 510 million. It is expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.At present, the preliminary work of the Project is basically completed and the construction of the Project is about to start.

　　潮汕大桥开工在即

　　为进一步推进潮汕大桥建设步伐，改善汕头与潮州两地间的交通条件，11月6日上午，汕头市龙湖区与潮州市潮安区联合举行潮汕大桥工程项目共同建设签约仪式，明确并认定双方在该项目的报批、招标、建设、拆迁和后续管养、费用承担等方面的权利和义务。

　　潮汕大桥是“汕潮揭”一小时生活圈重要交通基础设施，全长1.44千米，起于汕头市龙湖区泰山北路，向北延伸跨越梅溪河，终点与潮州市潮安区站前路衔接，预算总投资5.1亿元，预计2024年建成通车。目前，项目前期工作基本完成，开工在即。
