Recently, the second phase of the housing construction project of the East Campus of Shantou University and the Asian Youth Games Venue Project (the student dormitory area and the athletes’ village) successfully passed the check and acceptance upon completion, marking the overall completion of the Shantou Asian Youth Games Village for Athletes (the student dormitory area of the East Campus of Shantou University).

The East Campus of Shantou University and the Asian Youth Games Venue Project (Phase II) includes Shantou University’s student dormitory areas and Asian Youth Games Village for Athletes, with an investment of approximately RMB 1.004 billion.The construction contents of the Project include 10 dormitory buildings (including 5 for undergraduates, 2 for masters’ students, 1 for doctoral students, and 2 for international students), 3 canteens and other ancillary facilities.The Project will serve as the athletes’ village during the Asian Youth Games to welcome participating athletes and delegations from all over the world. After the Asian Youth Games, it will serve as a living area for students in the East Campus of Shantou University.

　　汕头亚青会运动员村落成

　　近日，汕头大学东校区暨亚青会场馆项目二期房建项目（学生宿舍区、运动员村）顺利通过竣工验收，标志汕头亚青会运动员村（汕大东校区学生宿舍区）整体竣工。

　　汕头大学东校区暨亚青会场馆项目（二期）包括汕大学生宿舍区和亚青会运动员村，投资约10.04亿元。项目建设内容包括10栋学生宿舍楼，其中本科生宿舍5栋、硕士生宿舍2栋、博士生宿舍1栋、留学生宿舍2栋，3座食堂以及其他附属设施。项目在亚青会赛时将作为运动员村，迎接各国参赛运动员和代表团，赛后作为汕大东校区学子的生活区。
