Recently, the section of Zhucheng Road (South Songshan Road-Haicheng Road) was opened to traffic in trial. This is the first East-West municipal road in Zhugang New Town, which realizes the convenient connection between the headquarters park of Zhugang New Town, Huangcuowei Area and East Coastal New Town, and will effectively alleviate the traffic pressure of East Zhongshan Road during the evening rush hour.

The section of Zhucheng Road (South Songshan Road - Haicheng Road) is an urban secondary trunk road, 346 meters long, 30 meters wide, with 6 lanes in two ways. There are bus stops and special asphalt bicycle lanes along the road. Since the start of construction in December last year, the Overseas Chinese Pilot Zone has actively coordinated and supervised the construction to ensure the orderly progress of the project, while the construction party overcame the difficulties in the construction and successfully completed the construction tasks. Opening the road to traffic in trial will improve the comfort level and satisfaction of citizens when they travel.

汕头珠港新城首条东西向市政道路贯通

近日，珠城路（嵩山南路-海城路）路段开放试通车，这是珠港新城内部首条贯通的东西走向市政道路，实现了珠港新城总部园区与黄厝围片区及东海岸新城的便捷联通，将有效缓解晚高峰期中山东路的交通压力。

　　珠城路（嵩山南路-海城路）路段为城市次干道，长346米，宽30米，双向6车道，沿线配套公交车站、沥青自行车专用车道等。自去年12月启动建设以来，华侨试验区积极协调督导，确保工程有序推进，建设方克服施工难点，顺利完成施工任务，开放试通车，提升市民出行的舒适度和满意度。
