On December 15, the 2021 Guangdong Provincial "China Sports Lottery" Youth Water Polo Championships, which was sponsored by Guangdong Provincial Sports Bureau, was held in the Water Polo Arena at Shantou Sports Industry Base. This game had Group A and Group B. The participating teams came from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Jiangmen, Maoming, Zhaoqing and Qingyuan.

The Water Polo Arena at Shantou Sports Industry Base, the venue for this game, is one of the venues for the 3rd Asian Youth Games, and it is also the first sports event held since its establishment. Taking advantage of this game, Shantou further tests the ability of the venue to host the games, and prepares for hosting the Asian Youth Games.

　　汕头市体育产业基地水球馆迎来首场比赛

　　12月15日，由广东省体育局主办的2021年广东省“中国体育彩票”青少年水球锦标赛在汕头市体育产业基地水球馆举办。本次比赛设甲乙组，参赛队伍分别来自广州、深圳、珠海、佛山、江门、茂名、肇庆、清远。

　　本次比赛场地汕头市体育产业基地水球馆是第三届亚青会场馆之一，也是该馆建成以来首次举办体育赛事。汕头借助此次比赛，进一步检验了场馆办赛能力，为举办亚青会做好准备。
