During the New Year's holiday, the construction area on the north bank of the Shantou Bay Tunnel was still under full swing. The workers went all out to debug the lighting of the wind tower, for the purpose of celebrating the New Year with the glittering and dazzling lights and colors.

There are two wind towers on the north and south banks of Shantou Bay Tunnel. The wind tower on the north bank, which is lit up this time, is located in the southeast area of Overseas Chinese Park. Its theme is to "present" the history. It integrates the architectural features of Shantou's traditional residential buildings, and extracts the columns combining Chinese and Western styles in the residential buildings in the hometown of overseas Chinese in Shantou, forming the lotus column with vertical grooves on the column body. When the lights are on, the wind tower is brilliantly lit up and gradually changes into different colors. The light and shadow of the wind tower are reflected on the water surface, which is magnificent, impressive and elegant against the background of the night.

　　汕头海湾隧道北岸风塔亮灯

　　元旦假期，汕头海湾隧道北岸工区仍在进行紧张施工，工人们全力以赴调试风塔灯光，用流光溢彩、璀璨夺目的灯光欢庆新年。

　　汕头海湾隧道南北岸各设一座风塔。此次亮灯的北岸风塔位于华侨公园东南区域，其主题是“刻”画历史，融合汕头传统民居建筑特征，提取了汕头侨乡民居中西合璧的柱子风格，形成一种带有柱身竖向凹槽的莲花柱形式。亮灯时的风塔灯火璀璨，并渐变出不同颜色，风塔的光影投向水面，在夜色的衬托下美轮美奂。
