On January 4, Shantou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism andSports announced that Guangdong Danying Ecological Park and Shantou Hongchang Danan Mountain Revolution-themed Tourism Destination were rated as the national scenic areas of Grade 3A.Up to now, Shantou has opened 14 scenic areas of Grade 3A and Grade 4A (including 7 rated as 3A and 7 rated as 4A).

Founded in 2010, Danying Ecological Park is located on the south side of the middle section of Hepu Avenue in Haojiang District. It is a demonstration area for the "integrated development of the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries" and a modern pastoral complex, integrating with farm-based recreation, science popularization, study and education, agricultural product planting and breeding, flower sales and greening projects, fresh goods distribution and terminal retail, and enjoying the reputation of "natural oxygen bar".

Hongchang Danan Mountain Revolution-themed Tourism Destination is located in Daxiba Village, Hongchang Town, Chaonan District, and it is rich in revolution-themed resources.At present, the construction of the scenic area has basically been completed. With the thinking of "highlighting priorities, connecting nodes into lines", it has formed five major nodes of "one center, one village, one area, one field and one monument", and it has become an important patriotism education base in Shantou City.

　　汕头新增2个国家3A级旅游景区

　　1月4日，我市文化广电旅游体育局发布公告，确定广东丹樱生态园、汕头市红场大南山红色旅游景区为国家3A级旅游景区。截至目前，我市共有3A级和4A级旅游景区各7处。

　　丹樱生态园始建于2010年，位于濠江区河浦大道中段南侧，是集农业休闲观光、科普研学教育、农产品种养、花卉销售及绿化工程、生鲜配送和终端零售于一体的“一二三产业融合”示范区和现代化田园综合体，并有“天然氧吧”之美名。

　　红场大南山红色旅游景区位于潮南区红场镇大溪坝村，红色资源丰富。目前该景区基本完成建设，以“重点打造，串点成线”的思路，形成“一心、一寨、一带、一场、一碑”五大节点，成为我市重要的爱国主义教育基地。
