On the evening of January 14,the Starting Ceremony of the Solicitation for Musical Works for Shantou 2021 Asian Youth Games under the theme of "Let Youth Glitter in Shantou" was held by the Shantou Executive Committee of the Asian Youth Games (hereinafter referred to as SECAYG), thus the construction of the music system for the 3rd Asian Youth Games (hereinafter referred to as AYG) was officially launched.

The SECAYG plans to call for four types of musical works through public solicitation and targeted invitations, namely the AYG hymn, the AYG volunteer song, the city promotional song, and occasion-specific music. Submissions should demonstrate the Olympic Spirit, the concept, goals and vision of Shantou 2021 AYG with a touch of China's cultural values and Shantou's characteristics. The musical work should showcase the image of Host City of being youthful, vigorous and hospitable and create a pleasant atmosphere for broader participation. As for targeted invitation, the SECAYG will invite some outstanding and influential musicians to participate in the Solicitation for Musical Works. All participants can download the solicitation document from Shantou 2021 AYG's official website (www.2021shantou.cn), and the deadline for submitting the musical works shall be March 31, 2022.

　　汕头2021亚青会音乐作品征集活动正式启动

　　1月14日晚，亚青会汕头市执委会举办“青春在汕耀”汕头2021亚青会音乐作品征集启动仪式，正式启动第三届亚青会音乐系统建设工作。

　　亚青会汕头市执委会计划以社会征集和定向邀约两种方式公开征集4类歌曲和音乐，其中包括亚青会会歌、亚青会志愿者歌曲、城市宣传歌曲以及亚青会功能性音乐。应征作品应彰显奥林匹克精神，契合汕头2021亚青会理念、目标、愿景，反映中华优秀传统文化和汕头城市特质，展现青春活力、健康向上、热情好客的东道主形象，营造全民参与、共享亚青的热烈氛围。针对有社会影响力的优秀音乐人，亚青会汕头市执委会将采取定向邀约的形式进行征集。应征人可从第三届亚洲青年运动会官网（www.2021shantou.cn）下载征集文件，投稿截止时间为2022年3月31日。
