During the Spring Festival, the red lanterns were hung up in the Port-opening Area of Small Park, and the colorful flags were raised, to celebrate the arrival of the Lunar New Year. On the first day of the Lunar New Year, the Lijiajiao Boxing Experience Center voluntarily organized a lion dance; and the gong and drum teams paraded on the streets, and while containing the COVID-19 pandemic, they extended the Lunar New Year's greetings to the citizens and tourists. The Port-opening Area of Small Park also carries out creative design in combination with the elements of the Asian Youth Games and the characteristics of Chaoshan culture, set up the sites for people to take the perfect Wechat Moments snap of the cartoon characters of Small Park in the Year of the Tiger in the department stores and other places, and created the word "Shantou" by means of traditional paper cutting on the street windows to convey a strong atmosphere of the Lunar New Year.

　　汕头小公园开埠区浓浓年味吸引八方游客

　　春节期间，小公园开埠区挂上大红灯笼，拉起成片彩旗，盛装迎接农历新年的到来。大年初一，李家教拳体验馆自发组织舞狮，锣鼓队伍走上街区巡游，在做好疫情防控的前提下，为市民游客送上新春祝福。小公园开埠区还结合亚青会元素、潮文化特色等进行创意设计，在百货大楼等处设置了小公园虎年卡通人物打卡点，街道橱窗上用传统剪纸打造的“汕头”二字传递着浓浓的年味。
