On the afternoon of February 7, on the first day of work after the Spring Festival, Shantou Municipal Committee of the CPC and Shantou Municipal People's Government held the Chinese New Year Discussion Meeting for Chaoshan Business people, and the municipal officials got together with and gathered together with the presidents of Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce at home and abroad and the representatives of Chaoshan entrepreneurs from Shantou and other places, for the purpose of renewing their affection for theirhometown and pursuing common development. Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of Shantou Municipal Committee of the CPC, attended the meeting and delivered a speech, and Zeng Fengbao, Mayor of Shantou Municipal People's Government, reported the economic and social developments.

Wen Zhanbin has pointed out that currently Shantou is at the best of times for its development, and it is only natural that Chaoshan business people enjoy a broad prospect and enormous potential for investment and business operations in Shantou. Shantou Municipal Committee of the CPC and Shantou Municipal People's Government will go all out to act as the "waiters" and "servants" for the enterprises, and continue to improve the business environment, in the interests of keeping the sound development of the enterprises in Shantou to the greatest extent possible.

　　汕头召开新春潮商座谈会

　　2月7日下午，在春节后上班第一天，市委、市政府召开潮商新春座谈会，与海内外潮汕商会会长、外地潮商企业家及在汕企业家代表等欢聚一堂，畅叙乡情，共谋发展。市委书记温湛滨出席会议并讲话，市长曾风保通报经济社会发展情况。

　　温湛滨表示，当前汕头发展“天时地利人和”兼备，广大潮商来汕投资兴业恰逢其时、大有可为。市委、市政府将全力以赴当好企业的“店小二”“服务员”，持续优化营商环境，为企业在汕发展保驾护航。
