Numerous kapok trees stand proudly on the streets of Shantou, with flowers hanging all over their branches, and the blooming of flowers in the wind heralds a new spring. The kapoks on the branches are bright red like fire, and they are dazzling and heart-warming, adding a luxuriant spring to Shantou City.

　　木棉花开日，一年春好时。汕头街头一棵棵木棉树傲然挺立，花朵挂满枝头，迎风绽放报春讯。枝头的木棉花鲜红似火，耀眼而暖人心扉，为城市增添了浓浓春意。
