Recently, the 20th China Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition was held online. The Competition was conducted in English. The Shantou University representative team composed of undergraduates from Shantou University Law School stood out from 56 teams and won the national championship and the first prize for the team. At the end of March, the Shantou University team will represent China in the capacity of champion to take part in the international competition and continue to compete with high-level teams from all over the world.

The "Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition" is a professional legal debate competition sponsored by the International Law Students Association (ILSA) of the United States. Every year, more than 600 universities from more than 100 countries would participate in the Competition. The Competition is known as the "Olympic Competition" in the international legal field. It is also a concentrated display of the legal education level of various countries.

　　汕头大学获杰赛普国际法模拟法庭比赛全国冠军

　　近日，中国第20届“杰赛普国际法模拟法庭比赛”于线上举行。比赛采用全英文进行，由汕头大学法学院本科生组成的汕头大学代表队从56支队伍中脱颖而出，荣获全国冠军及团体一等奖。3月底，汕大代表队将以冠军身份代表中国参加国际赛，继续与世界各国的高水平队伍进行较量。

　　“杰赛普国际法模拟法庭比赛”是由美国国际法学生联合会(ILSA)主办的专业性法律辩论赛，每年有100多个国家的600余所大学参赛，被誉为国际法学界的“奥林匹克竞赛”，也是各国法学教育水平的集中展示。
