Recently, as the Liberian "Zhonglian Huizhou" liner was slowly departing, Shantou Port Guang’ao Port Area officially opened and operated the route from Qingdao to the Middle East via Shantou-Guang’ao. The route would stop at ports in the Belt and Road countries, including the Dammam Port in Saudi Arabia, the Karachi Port in Pakistan, and the Laem Chabang Port in Thailand.

Currently, there are 12 Belt and Road routes opened and operated in the Guang’ao Port Area, connecting with Southeast Asia, South Asia, Northeast Asia, West Asia and other countries and regions, and the capabilities of the Guang’ao Port Area to serve the Belt and Road have been further improved. The effect of the core port area of the eastern Guangdong port group and the eastern Guangdong public logistics hub port is further manifested.

　　汕头广澳港区再添“一带一路”新航线

　　近日，随着利比里亚籍“中联惠州”班轮缓缓驶出，汕头港广澳港区正式开通运营青岛经汕头广澳直达中东地区航线。该航线停靠沙特阿拉伯达曼港、巴基斯坦卡拉奇、泰国林查班等“一带一路”沿线国家港口。

　　目前，广澳港区开通运营的“一带一路”航线已达12条，链接东南亚、南亚、东北亚、西亚等国家地区，服务“一带一路”建设能力进一步提升，粤东港口群的核心港区和粤东公共物流枢纽港效应进一步显现。
