On April 8, the video conference for inspecting Shantou's bidding to host the 22nd Teochew International Convention was held. Via video link, Teochew International Federation conducted a video inspection on Shantou's bidding to host the Teochew International Convention.
At the conference, Wen Zhanbin, Secretary of the Shantou Municipal Committee of the CPC, delivered a comprehensive report on Shantou's bidding to host the Teochew International Convention, and introduced in detail the basic advantages of Shantou in terms of economic construction, urban landscape, location conditions, infrastructure, service facilities, and experiences in hosting the conferences, as well as the philosophy, approaches and measures, and work plans for hosting the Teochew International Convention. He said that Shantou has the confidence, determination and capability to once again host a unique and vibrant Teochew International Convention in the new historical era, showing Shantou's new developments, new achievements and new image to the folks of Chaozhou origin at home and abroad.
