Recently, the "Zhengli Qingdao" ship of CMA CGM's Southeast Asia (Philippines) route berthed at the phase I wharf of Shantou Port Guang’ao Port Area. The 246 TEUs of goods forwarded from Jakarta, Indonesia would be loaded onto the ship, and be exported to Hong Kong, China through international container transshipment. This marks the official launch of the international container transshipment business in Guang'ao Port Area.

The launch of the international container transshipment business has optimized the resource allocation of international liner routes in Guang'ao Port Area and reduced the operating costs of liner routes. In particular, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the foreign trade container liner space and empty containers of Shantou Port have been increased, which has eased the pressure of ship jam on Shekou Port and other surrounding ports and ensured the smooth flow of the international logistics supply chain of import and export goods in Guang'ao Port Area.

　　汕头广澳港区启动国际集装箱转运业务

　　近日，法国达飞轮船公司东南亚（菲律宾）航线“正利青岛”轮靠泊汕头港广澳港区一期码头，将从印尼雅加达装运的246标箱货物装上该班轮，通过国际集装箱转运出口至中国香港。这标志着广澳港区国际集装箱转运业务正式启动。

　　此次国际集装箱转运业务的启动，优化了广澳港区国际班轮航线资源配置，降低了班轮航线运营成本，特别是在疫情期间，增加了汕头港外贸集装箱班轮舱位与空箱，缓解了蛇口等周边港口船舶塞港压力，保障了广澳港区进出口货物的国际物流供应链畅通。
